I love old timey places, especially rally greasy spoons and C&J's checks all the boxes .
Delicious hot food. The bacon ranch chicken cheesesteak was excellent. The CJs burger was huge. Fries were crispy and hot. Rootbeer in the frozen mug was so good! Service was excellent. The waitress was so patient and so kind.
Our service is usually a hit or miss... more a miss, however they do have a good philly steak! Most of time they are out of something, but I always go in for a Philly. When the music is playing we always like the old times music and vibes.

Edit: I have been back twice since, same great food, price, and I will add, very pleasant service! 12/10 will do again! Across the street doing laundry, desperate for a snack so I decided to pop over. Got a to go order of fried mushrooms. I was a little concerned by the 9 price tag. WORTH EVERY PENNY! Hot, crispy, juicy, and so many! I was very impressed! Well worth my money, will definitely do again! Food and service were great! Atmosphere isn't my scene but isn't bad.
Not the cheesesteak I'm familiar with but a very good cheese steak it comes with a yellow cheese on a substitute monterey jack and I order their onion rings both of them are superior. Unfortunately I never take a photograph of them because I'm too busy eating them. The people are always very friendly and I don't think you'll be disappointed. They do a lot of carryout and it seems to be done smoothly. Prices typical for Fairbanks
Really good classic burger spot. Loved the vibe, fast service. The burger was delicious, fries were crispy, and the shake was nice and thick. Definitely stop in if you're in the area!
The environment was nice and the staff were nice and friendly. I liked the style and they even had coloring books like the old times! The food was bomb! And the rootbeer float was also delicious
